COMMUNE 2000. HyperGotthard

Once it was a mountain.

Now it is a suprematist experience of pure space.
The St. Gotthard mass split into several geostationary rock layers.

On the highest levels it hosts the Euro African gateway to the solar system, the HyperGotthard Esoport.
Several other functions and floating cities are displaced in the middle levels.

In the Bedrock of the former mountain the climate turns into a subtropical landscape where the biggest Nudist Safari Colony has found its place.

A hyperhuman tower chasing the sky, challenging the cosmic freedom.

"seduction is in being transported from A to C through shining soft B-buildings."

COMMUNE2000 is an open research group that works on a new vision of future in which art, architecture, science fiction and sociology are mixed together to realize a special point of view based on the idea of man as a soft-machine sexually connected to the surrounding environment. This group was founded in 2004 by Edoardo Cesàro (1976, Pompei), architect and bachelor researcher at the University of Florence, and Giuliano Gatti (1976, Terni), member of nEmoGruppo and freelance designer. The big aim is to stimulate the consciousness of new forms of space by using popular languages and telling people hopeful stories about alternative worlds.
