UCDA 30th Annual Design Competition |

| Founded
in 1970, UCDA supports the exchange of ideas and information relating to the unique role
of designers who promote education. The competition recognizes the best of the exceptional
design work done in this context. The 30th Annual Show will be displayed at the 2000 UCDA
Annual Conference in Miami Beach, Florida, September 23-26 at the Wyndham Miami Beach
Resort. Entry Deadline:July 7, 2000 Eligibility Any work designed, published and/or used by an educational institution is eligible. Work must have been published for the first time between July 1, 1999 and June 30, 2000. Criteria for Judging Print entries will be judged for excellence in concept, design, illustration, typography and printing, as well as effectiveness, quality and creativity in solving problems inherent in institutional design. Electronic media entries will be judged for appearance, flexibility, interactivity and suitability for their intended audiences. Creativity in solving the problems of designing for electronic media is primary. Work accepted for the show will receive Awards of Excellence, Silver and Gold, to be presented at the UCDA Annual Conference on September 24, 2000 in Miami Beach, Florida.
