Interior Design Competition for a New Nikko Hotel Sponsor: Sogo Corporation and JAL Hotels Co. Ltd. Submission Deadline: Postmarked on July 31, 2000 The Universal Studio Japan (USJ) Theme Park is now underdevelopment in the Osaka Bay area, in conjunction with which a Nikko Hotel is to be constructed just at the gateway to the park with a targeted opening in the spring of 2002. This is an invitation to the international competition for its interior designs co-sponsored by Sogo Corporation and JAL Hotels Co. Ltd.
