Preamble
The new economy in the world - the new age of revolution made possible by cyber technology, creating a new boundary-less virtual world. Nationality takes on a new challenge and a new meaning. For the first time in the history of mankind, we can work backward from our imagination rather than forward from our past. Radical technology advancement, like the cloning of sheep Dolly, the decoding of human genome, and the enabling of wireless workforce, all marks a generation of innovation. The explosion of the cyber world has given companies and individuals the power to transform business models of entire industries. Technology has drastically changed the way we work, live, play and learn.

You are invited to participate in our Request For Proposal, RFP@VISTA - MASTERPLAN, and to contribute towards the making of this exciting new community.
Eligibility
Firms must be registered with affiliations to professional bodies.
Any company or business, which is currently debarred from participating in Government of the Republic of Singapore projects, is not eligible to participate in this RFP.
Registration
Registration can be made by email to SHDG@jtc.gov.sg, or faxed to 65-8855943, stating company name, contact person, email address, telephone number and fax number.
Closing Date for registration of interest is 3 Nov 2000, 5pm (Singapore Time).
Once registered, overseas participants will receive a copy of the RFP by courier. (Certificate of firm's registration and affiliation(s) with professional bodies should be attached with the request, either in scanned format, for email requests, or faxed).
Local participants can collect (with duplicated proof of firm's registration and affiliation(s) with professional bodies) the RFP at the address below:

Clarifications:
Questions for Stage one submission must be sent to us on or before 10 Nov 2000. All questions and clarifications will be answered by 2 postings on our website http://www.gov.sg/SHDG.html on 27 Oct and 12 Nov. All questions and answers will also be distributed to the members of the Evaluation Committee.
Submission Deadline
For Stage One:
All registered participating firms must ensure that all materials reach the Customer Services Centre of Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) by 17 November 2000, 1.30 pm (Singapore Time).
For Stage Two:

Late submissions will not be accepted.
