Core 77 invites you to participate in our second annual design competition. This competition recognizes students and designers around the globe who think and design beyond the scope of available manufacturing and technology. Project entries should expand or contribute to our present understanding of what design and product can be.
Students and designers with visionary ideas about the future of design and living can achieve a worldwide audience for their projects because the winning work will be published on-line in Core 77, the largest design site on the world wide web. In keeping with the spirit of the Internet, and to eliminate barriers to participation, there are no entry fees for this competition.
Any designer or student, worldwide. Any conceptual project or product designed between January 2000 and the deadline of the competition, December 8, 2000.
Awards:
- One "International Heavyweight Design Champion" wins $2000.
- Ten "Contenders" each receive a prize-pack of Core 77 merchandise.
