PILOT PROJECT SOUND Ministry of Transportation Holland Competiton for ideas |
|||||
The most important part of the pilot project is a competition. Anyone who has an idea or concept for a noise-limiting measure is invited to enter this competition. An independent jury will select three concepts or measures from the entries. The Ministry offer them the chance to demonstrate the concept or measure to a wide audience. For demonstration they received for a prize of NLG 100,000 (EUR 45,378). The Ministry will also assist with the preparation of patent requests for a number of ideas. Submit your innovative ideas, concepts and measures! That is what we are saying with the Noise pilot project. Don't leave them on the drawing board but show them to us! You can submit not only measures that can be demonstrated on a test location in August 2001, but also ideas that can only be shown in the future. What do you need to know to take part? The Ministry has stipulated a number of conditions for submission. These conditions are listed in the competition rules, which are available on request. The rules set out the conditions that apply to entries, the way entries will be handled, the situation as far as individual right of ownership and patent applications are concerned, and so on. You can request a copy of the competition rules by geluid@bwd.rws.minvenw.nl. The competition rules and further information are being send to you by mail.
