| Deadline for questions: 23 May 2001 Deadline for submission: 30 July 2001 In conjunction with med The Federation of Danish Architects, Aalborg Municipality and The Danish Foundation for Culture and Sports Facilities invite architects to enter an open international design competition for a new "Aqua-Centre", to be built in connection with an existing sports and culture centre on the outskirts of Aalborg. The "Vandkulturhuset" is to house a range of water-based activities, catering for sports, games, exercise, fun and pleasure; the centre must appeal to all age ranges. The building will occupy approx. 4,600m2; the budget is estimated at approx. DKK 85 million. Competition dates: 4 April - 30 July 2001. Total prize money: DKK 650,000 with a minimum 1st prize of DKK 150,000. Deadline for questions: 23 May 2001. The deadline for submission: 30 July 2001.
