| PARRAMATTA URBAN DESIGN COMPETITION |

| IMROC (Inner Metropolitan Regional Organisation of Councils) in partnership with 11 Councils, RTA and DUAP invite Expressions of Interest from multi-disciplinary teams comprising; Architects, Landscape Architects, Town Planners, Artists, Land Economists, Transport Planners and Urban Designers, to become short listed to compete in an Urban Design Competition for Parramatta Road. The competition is seeking integrated design solutions that address environmental, economic and social sustainability. The vision for Parramatta Road has been articulated in the strategic framework, Parramatta Road 2000 and Beyond, and is available at www.parramattaroad.net Three sites, for demonstration projects, have been chosen as the focus of the competition. Up to eight short listed teams will be paid $10,000 to prepare their entry. The winning team will be commissioned to prepare a master plan for the 23km of Parramatta Road, from Broadway, City, to Church Street, Parramatta.
