The First Bienal Miami + Beach 2001 Open international competition of "conceptual and experimental unbuilt" architectural work via the internet e-Competition web-site: http://www.fiu.edu/~bienal/futures-en.html Bienal Miami 2001: http://bienalmiami.com Competition The International Bienal of Architecture of Miami calls for an international competition of "conceptual and experimental un-built" architectural works developed between 1998 and 2001. Participants The competition is open to all architects and students of architecture regardless of citizenship. The only requirement is that the project has not been constructed by the deadline of the competition. Objectives The goal of the competition is to promote and reveal the potency of "new conceptual and experimental work" in architecture today. The objective is to award design works that provoke new cultural visions, possible practices, and new understandings of urbanity in the contemporary world. The registration fee is USD$ 30 payable with a credit card in the web site. Participants must register and submit their web page address to the following web location: http://www.fiu.edu/~bienal/futures-en.html - The participants must submit their work in the format of web pages accessible via the Internet. - The official language of the competition will be English - The initial web page must include the title and location of the project. This first page must also include a link called "contact" which must be located in the upper left corner. The "contact" link must include the name of the participants, e-mail, contact address, phone numbers and affiliation. |
