Anniversary, and Dyson Ltd., renowned for its innovative product development,
are announcing an entirely new style of design competition for the
young designer and student under 30, with the objective of encouraging
the next generation of designers to take flight in the 21st century.
The
theme for this initial competition in 2002 is the corporate philosophy
of Dyson, "Product Innovation". This contest will be conducted
as a Web competition, with all elements -- from application, screening,
and announcement of the winners - to take place on the Web. Winner
selection is being delegated to a one-man jury, with the highest of
expectation for individualistic judgment reflecting this age of coexisting
values.
