 Jean Marie Charpentier Jean-Marie Charpentier, un architecte français construit en Chine France 2000, 14'26" Jean-Marie Charpentier, architect and urban planner, founded the architectural practice "arte jean-marie charpentier", in Paris in 1969. The practice has grown into a partnership of international status, participating frequently in major international urban and architectural competitions. After graduating in architecture and urban design from the Beaux Arts School of Paris, he taught architecture in Cambodia and became urban planning advisor to the United Nations in Africa. Actively involved in the development of the architectural profession world-wide, Jean-Marie Charpentier was elected Vice-President of the "Architects International Union" for France and has become a permanent member of the commission. Jean-Marie Charpentier maintains a leading role in the design and development of a wide range of projects undertaken by the practice. Built up over many years under his leadership, "arte-charpentier et associés" is an international team of professionals based in Paris offering multidisciplinary services in Architecture, Urban Planning and Interior Design on a world-wide level. |
