Twisting. This ribbon shaped surface is thought floating in the space, generating mutating forms by 'folding', 'twisting', 'intersecting' itself. The purpose is to investigate the possibility of a perception of the space in a 'time mutating process'. International Competition for the new football Stadium in Santa Monica, Los Angeles / honourable mention / with Catherine Behr and Chatharin Noorda. The project seats stadium on an artificial island in the ocean, attainable by a suspended bridge from the shore of Santa Monica. The aim is to conjugate a free organisation of the spaces with a specific attention for the functions of a stadium for football. Fluid and organic volumes surround the game field and the tribunes, that are shaped like misaligned flat wings suspended at different levels. These elements create a 'controlled disorder' that breaks the geometry and the symmetry conception.
