Awards:
Grant Prize $NT 500,000;
Second Prize $NT 200,000;
Third Prize $NT 100,000;
Excellent Design Prize $NT 30,000;
Finalist Prize $NT 15,000

Criteria for Evaluation: 1.Possibility(40%); 2.Inovation(40%); 3.Others(20%):Evaluation of shape styles, ergonmic considerations, drawing, model making and colors.

Jury: Experts from Taiwan and abroad, as well as representatives from associated agencies.

Theme:
As society spends up, life have become busier and busier, and people have less leisure time and less time to devote themselves to sporting activities. Moreover, serious air-pollution problems have discouraged outdoor activities. So, it is hoped that bicycling will become a more important part of the lives of all citizens, not only for sporting activities, but also for local transportation purpose, thereby helping to protect the envirnment. The theme of the competition is: "Two-wheel bicycle driven by human power or electrical-assistance."
