New millennium, where the nations of the world will participate in an architecture competition. The objective of the event is to promote solidarity and optimism for the peoples at the dawn of
The new millenium. The gates of time is an architectural calendar made of 12 columns erected in a circle, where each of them bears a month of year. More than 150 countries are invited to compete over design, originality and aesthetics. This friendly competition will allow participation countries to inaugurate simultaneously their respective monument on August 21, 2000. Thus officially marking the 3rd millennium. The (3) countries having accomplished the best realizations will be awarded with an honorary prize.
