Young Designers, Looking into the Future 2000

"Have you ever found yourself so intrigued, so fascinated by someone that you've wanted to create a pair of glasses that express exactly that personality, that culture, that lifestyle..."
Spectacle frames are products that depend on the caprices of style and fashion and on the latest state-of-the-art technologies. They are marketed in a very open, competitive world market where a brand's craftsmanship and creativity are determining factors in their success.

Les Lunetiers du Jura (Jura professional eyewear makers association), based in Morez near the Swiss Alps since 1796, is comprised of companies with a high degree of technological proficiency geared to an ever evolving international market. For them, design is a vector of innovation and creativity that contributes significantly to their achievements and to their corporate image.
