 5+1 architetti associati, Punto BREIL Mood Book, ITALIA 2001, 6'03'' The Mood Book presentation is done with a DVD. The design approach with which the competition was dealt with developed through a series of key words: leather/steel curve/geometry sensuality sixth sens touch light/dark threshold inside/outside precious/ironic human/android hot/cold smooth/porous cary grant dressed as a thief thief chase notorius gentlemen prefer blondes ingrid bergman/grace kelly elegance/vulgarity present/future led/laser praise, praise, praise (blade runner) minimum not minimal i(talian) touch I touch, look and only see objects on skin. I touch, italian touch, I look and feel space enveloping me. I touch, architecture, sensuality, organicity, technology. The 5+1 architetti associati studio was born in Genoa in 1995. Its members are collaborating with Professor E.D. Bona in his architectural design course at the University of Genoa. Since 1997 they are part of IFYA (International Forum of Young Architects) and in 2001 they were recommended for the Young Section of the Borromini Prize. In 1996 they won the New Biella Hospital Competition and the Campi Competition in Genoa for a system of signs in the Industrial Park. Their projects were admitted to the second stage of the Siena Justice Hall and Rome Congress Bridge International Competitions and for the new Bologna University settlements. |
