 Sebastiano Montresor (Accademia delle arti dell'immagine), Villa Vo' Pindemonte. Spazi, ITALIA 2001, 21'00'' This was a thesis for the Academy, appreciated also outside academic circles. The focus is mainly centered on physicality -also in terms of the setting- of the materials, of the spatial configurations and on their interpretation within a perspective of a careful, harmonious, balanced and expressive framing. A realization by Alessandro Pompei, architect and epigone of Palladium, this country-side villa was recently restored thanks to Group Veronesi SpA and to Luisa Nicodemo Veronesi who presently supervises the restoration and renovation works. Sebastiano Montresor (1979) graduated from the International Academy of Arts and Visual Science of L'Aquila in 2001. His activity consists in applying aesthetics both theoretically and practically on the filmed image (3 works are awaiting publication). The first work, Villa Vo' Pindemonte, was produced by the International Academy of Arts and Visual Science and requested to participate in the TV show Linea Verde (RaiUno). |
