 M. Meossi, C. Griffa, F .Innocenti (SPIN+ e Grol), HOUSE X_n, ITALIA 2001, 3'12'' Peter Eisenmann's House X is brought back to its virtual dimension. House X_n, describes, in the visionary narration of a backward travel, the descent from the virtual through the scripted landscapes that guide its actualization. Conceived in the form of a videoclip on architecture, House X_n adds to the original project the musical dimension, in which the tensions, the uncertainties and tragedies merge together creating moments of sublime serenity. As space comes to life, its passage into form, rather than an awakening, is a painful fall into reality; the shadows of House X_n are ghosts that shout loud their own pains that nevertheless disappear at the break of dawn, making room for the most delightful morning dreams. SPIN+ was founded in 1999 as an open planning group. They are especially committed to the development of new design and representational techniques in architecture. Filippo Innocenti, architect and designer, graduated in Architecture from the University in Florence in 1998 with the thesis "Ex Magazzini Frigoriferi di San Basilio, la nuova sede IUAV a Venezia". Maurizio Meossi, architect, graduated in Architecture from the University in Florence in 1998, with the thesis "Percorsi ed interni urbani: un progetto per l'area ex-scalo merci della stazione ferroviaria di Siena". Cesare Griffa (Grol) graduated in Architecture from the Turin Polytechnic in 1997. |
