 Manuele Balducci (Textrastudio), The Line, ITALIA 2001, 4'00'' The Video The Line can be defined as a turned over abstraction process: from abstract visions of matrixes and rasters of fantastic worlds to their convergence in the materiality of a simple object, going towards the flow of the town. A research whose starting points lie in the most disparate fields, from the movies to macro visions of common objects, moving around the curiosity and surprise of unexpected visions. Manuele Balducci (Textrastudio) received his degree in Architecture from the University of Florence in 1995. Between 1997 and 1999 he collaborates with the office of Massimiliano Fuksas being in charge of several projects and competitions. He was selected for the "Biennale di Arte Contemporanea di Porto Ercole" in 2001. He currently lives and works in Rome. |
