Montréal (1967) Jean beaudoin is the co-founder of Z.one Architecture. He is a graduated engineer of the Plytechnique of Montreal (1991) and graduated in architecture at the university of Montreal in 1995 were he was awarded "the Royal Architecture Institute of Canada for best thesis. He's part of the editing crew of the ARQ Magazine. As an associate of the design firm N.O.M.A.D.E. His projects were recently awarded First prize in the international competition BAN-ANA and received an honorable mention in the competition for a museum in Québec City ( with MSD Architects ). He's fascinated by scaffoldings which he studied for 4 months in Paris as part of a scholarship award.

Benoit Dupuis,

Montréal (1957) Benoit Dupuis is part of Dupuis Le Tourneux, architects, one of Quebec's most respected design firm. They won the Museum of Rimouski competition and more recently, the ENAP university pavillion in Quebec City. His firm is currently working on several projects redefining urban interface, namely 3 banks and a museum.

Dupuis is also teaching final year students at the university of montreal. His work is inspired by ephemeral spaces and he recently finished a study on The "Mediatic billboards as an urban skin".

Mario Cipresso is the creator and webmaster of Death By Architecture  and one of the founding members of the International Competition Network. Death By Architecture was the internet site that started it all when it comes to the compilation and publication of international design competitions in the format that has been adopted by the International Competition Network. Death By Architecture seeks to be a well-rounded source for the architecture and design community through its collection of job resources, competitions, internet resources, news, and by featuring significant design projects throughout the world. Mario Cipresso holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is currently employed by Matocha associates   in an architectural capacity as well as a graphic designer, website designer and computer renderer.

La procedura della giuria si baserà su un approccio innovativo facendo uso delle potenzialità di internet. La giuria costituirà da sola un evento nell’uso progettuale del web.

pre-selezione

Una selezione preliminare sarà condotta in maniera indipendente dai team di giuria di ogni Paese partecipante. Ogni team selezionerà 15 progetti e li presenterà insieme a relativi commenti nella pagina di esposizione.

selezione dei finalisti

Tutti i progetti selezionati col 50% + 1 di voti dei team di giurati saranno selezionati per il round finale.
Se il numero dei progetti selezionati col 50% + 1 è inferiore a 30, sarà tenuto un secondo round di votazioni tra una rosa di candidati che abbiano ricevuto più del 25 % dei voti e meno del 50%. I progetti più votati costituiranno la rosa dei 30 finalisti. Nel caso di una parità per il trentesimo posto, tutti i progetti che avranno ricevuto lo stesso numero di voti saranno inclusi.

Il forum

Tutti i progetti finalisti saranno presentati sulla stessa pagina web.
Un forum pubblico, con commenti dei visitatori e dei giurati accompagnerà l’esposizione per 14 giorni.
Un secondo forum sarà riservato ai commenti della giuria ed alla loro discussione. Il pubblico potrà assistere all’evoluzione del dibattito dei giurati.
Alla fine delle due settimane di forum, sarà chiesto ai membri della giuria di scegliere per il logo vincitore.
Ogni giurato selezionerà i tre progetti da lui ritenuti migliori. Al primo assegnerà cinque punti, al secondo tre, al terzo un punto.
Il progetto che riceverà maggior numero di punti vincerà il concorso e la biblioteca internazionale.
Ogni giurato assegnerà inoltre menzioni d’onore e relativi premi a sua discrezione.
