Invited by the INM (Institute für neue Medien, Frankfurt) to contribute to an event named MEDIENKÖRPER in Frankfurt, this project deals with the architectural side of the body-environment dialectic. Translated to the object-space relationship, the project included a three step iteration of statements fed into an associative structure. The first iteration included reacting to statements isolated from their context and such creating a new contextual meaning for them. In a second step, the created associative field could be walked, while the system registers all movements on the users within it. The third iteration included a translation of the collected memspace-data into an audiovisual, three-dimensional space that could be navigated by the visitor. The space available in the installation has no boundaries since it folds back into itself as soon as a boundary is encountered. Moving within the structure creates a feeling of being within a reading machine and lets the user compose its own thread of associations and stories. All movements again, are tracked and exiting the spatial (InWorld) system brings the viewer to an object-oriented (Outworld) view of the structure that he has just been walking.
