[...] In the antique world, in Greece as in Far East, the Subject was smelted with his
environment, he was living in a body-world continuum, suddenly remembering his isolation
when an indictment happens to relocalize him as body. The Figure of Mandala is an equation
of symbiotic incorporation that ties, since a tracing ritual by rice or colored sand, a
personal and intimate level, to the level of the house, of the temple, of the city, of the
world, up to the level of the Universe. What patterns of representation will emerge from
these still undifferencied and Amorphe Transitions that link Human Societies to their
