 Mattew Baran 01 project: Digital Architectures 01_studios, USA 1999, 2'50'' This video is a collage of works finished in the last four years and being part of 01 project. The project is an attempt to merge design and physical structure with virtual space thus allowing them to influenced each other. The introducing clips show 3D animation ; they give information about the techniques used in the realisation of the video such as visualization and drawing. There are some other graphic clips here and there in the video but it basically shows five main projects: Digital Information/School of Architecture, Roppongi Subway Station, Italia Digital Explorationand Sketch Work, Cinecittą, Kansas City Light and Power District. Matthew Baran got a Bacherlor's in architecture at the University of South California in 1996. He has worked as designer and architect on his own and together with some studios.
