Caipirinha Music, USA 1999, 4'28''

Caipirinha Production envisions architecture not as something static or still, but as something in continuous transformation. This installation strives to put in synergy film, music and contemporary architecture. The first of the three installations was completed at the Brooklyn Anchorage in New York, one of the large structures that connects the Brooklyn Bridge to land. The concept of the work is a succession of both images and videos that evolve and change following musical beats. Subsequently, the project was included in the exhibition "The Un-Private House" at MOMA, and enjoyed considerable success as the first experience of live electronic music at New York's MOMA.
