"My work seeks the possibility for an architecture, as a protocol between the virtual and the real, that is an interface between the activity of our daily lives and the space of the internet. If the space of the internet is not flat and extends beyond the current window metaphor, how do the parameters for its description and design differ from first reality? The selected projects propose an architecture consisting of descriptive flows and events employed for our understanding of the potential relationships between the material and the indeterminate. Utilizing the agency of the internet and VRML, these projects re-configure traditional relationships between author/user, authority/control, materiality/ephemerality, macro/micro and representation/instrumentality. If we can think of architecture as an explanatory construct between our bodies and our world, we can also think of a dynamic architecture of information through which we can inhabit and demarcate place within an ever-evolving indeterminate network of hypertext links that is the internet".
